Richard Patti is a Ph.D. candidate in sociology and demography at the University of Pennsylvania. He is a quantitative researcher who is interested in how social status, residence, and citizenship pattern inequalities in health and access to healthcare in the United States. Research interests include social determinants of health as well as healthcare access, especially in mixed-status families. His dissertation uses panel data to assess structural intersectionality and the social determinants of health at multiple levels of analysis.
