Professor Irma Elo and Demography PhD student Sneha Mani attended the First Annual Academy of the new doctoral program IMPRS-PHDS at the Max Planck Institute for Demographic Research in Rostock, Germany in early November. Sneha Mani is one of 22 doctoral students who are affiliated with the program and several faculty of the Graduate Group in Demography (GGD) are also program affiliates.
