Ezra Fishman graduated summa cum laude from Brandeis University, where he majored in economics and was inducted into Phi Beta Kappa. He then worked as a research assistant at MDRC, a social policy research firm in New York, where he managed administrative and survey data related to educational interventions. Since entering the PhD program in demography, his research has focused on adult health in the United States, with papers on physical activity, diabetes, and mobility limitations. He has received a dual Master’s degree in Statistics. His dissertation title is “Essays on aging-related disease in the U.S. population.”
