Chunyong Chen is a Ph.D. student in Demography at the University of Pennsylvania. His research interests lie in mortality and mathematical demography. Presently, he is modeling census data in China and exploring population-level dynamics in African countries (e.g., life expectancy and lifespan inequality). He is also collaborating a project on the Rectangularization of survival curves in high income countries.
