I am a third-year Ph.D student in the sociology and demography program at the University of Pennsylvania. My research interests lie in the intersection of migration and family change. Previously, in a master's program in demography at Stockholm University, I examined variation in the effect of parental separation on children's schooling outcomes among immigrant groups in Sweden. Currently, I am studying migrant fertility dynamics in West Germany. Prior to coming to Penn, I was also a Fulbright research fellow in Berlin, Germany from 2010 to 2011. I received an AB in economics and a certificate in Near Eastern Studies from Princeton University in 2008.
